Due to continued strong transaction flow, Venture Advisory is seeking an experienced Analyst to join the team assisting on Mergers & Acquisitions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members and be involved in a variety of transaction origination, advisory, and execution.

As an Investment Banking Analyst, your role would involve:

• Working as part of the deal team to support seniors in deal origination and execution

• Providing project management support to senior team members

• Contributing to client meetings, including the preparation of board presentation materials, transaction documents, due diligence and sector benchmarking

• Building and developing financial models with a high degree of granularity, including running scenarios and sensitivity analysis

• Contributing to the firm's approach and policies for managing risk and all applicable legal and regulatory rules

• Developing relationships with our clients

 

Skills / Experience Required

• 1-3 years of experience gained from working in Investment Banking, Big 4 Corporate Finance or Valuations, Strategy Consultancy, M&A Law, or a similar financial services profession, with a track record of success both academically and professionally

• Able to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team, with strong financial analysis skills, impeccable attention to detail and are committed to a career in investment banking

• A tertiary qualification with exceptional academic results

• With superior interpersonal skills, you are a team player who can work under pressure with the ability to produce presentational material and financial analysis quickly and accurately

• Ability to use Factset preferred but not mandatory
